House of Klaus

Kept by one person, open to anyone. Three rooms hold three projects — an archive of true stories, a workshop full of old machines, and a lab that glows a little strangely after dark. Come in — the door’s unlocked.

Chronicle

“True stories of the moments that shape a life.”

The heart of the house: a quiet archive where people set down true, first-person stories of the moments that shaped them — kept without names, likes, or feeds, and arranged so that wherever you’re standing, you can find someone who has stood there before.

Refurb

“A second life for old machines.”

Screwdrivers everywhere, nothing bound for the landfill. Old computers arrive here at the end of one life and leave with a fresh operating system and the start of another — passed on, free, to neighbors across Northeast Tarrant County.

METACOGNATE

“Learn to see the strings.”

The one room that glows. A field guide to the tricks of persuasion — in advertising, headlines, rhetoric, and interface design — dressed up as a story that knows it’s a story. The narrative is a bit; the cognitive biases are very real, sources included.

At the desk · The Keeper

The keeper of the house

The house takes its name from its keeper: Klaus, short for Nicklaus. Nicklaus Madison is a software developer in North Richland Hills, Texas, now studying AI engineering full time — a builder’s background pointed at learning how the new machines actually think. Most days start with a walk to the dog park with Enzo, a small dog with strong opinions, which is where a surprising share of the good ideas arrive. The rest of the time he keeps these rooms — gathering stories for the Archive, mending machines in the Workshop, and leaving the light on in the Lab for anyone curious enough to look down the stairs.

Leave a note

No address on the door — just the slot. Write something and it lands on the keeper’s desk. Questions about a room, an old machine looking for a second life, or a story you’d like to set down: all welcome.

Your note goes straight to one person’s inbox. Nothing is stored on this site, nothing is shared, and no one is added to a list.
